| From the beginning, STI has been evolving core technologies as well as addressing complete custom solutions. Drawing on our government and military product development experience, we realized there were commercial opportunities we were able to address. These opportunities often are “extensions”, or “modifications” of work we have done in the past.

| ProConnections, a division of Surveillance Technology Inc., was created to specifically service the commercial sector. Taking core technology developed by STI, ProConnections develops offerings and solutions applicable to a variety of commercial markets. One of our first interests was the idea of creating an interactive communications solution for the Healthcare Industry specifically aimed at solving visitation issues for long-term healthcare facilities and built on the foundation of our MediaLink video communications device. The result was SimVisits. |

The SimVisits solution allows residents to receive internet-based, audio/video visits with the click of button on a custom controller. The controller is designed to accommodate potential limitations in vision and dexterity. Once a resident has opted to receive an incoming communication, the visitors can see and talk to their loved ones from the comfort of their own homes. Friends and family members who choose to participate in the service simply install SimVisits software onto their computers. |

| Another area of commercial interest to ProConnections is manufacturing. The value proposition is compelling: manufacturing lines typically produce high volumes of output every hour. Therefore when a problem occurs and a production line is stopped, it is imperative that the manufacturing staff resolve the issues and get the line operational as soon as possible. The eCap video event recorder continually monitors the production line making it easier to remedy problems that occur. The result is production lines that are operational more often and produce more product. |

| The third generation of eCap industrial monitoring products are currently shipping. The next generation eCap products will use Gigabit GigE Vision compliant hardware to record even higher quality, higher frame rate video event clips. Target ship date of the GigECam product is in the second quarter of 2009. |

Most recently, ProConnections has taken a high definition video recorder developed by STI for military applications and adapted it for commercial markets. The result is MediaArcHD. MediaArcHD is positioned to be an excellent fit for such demanding video applications like surgical procedure recording and complex production line analysis. It supports the full range of high definition recording standards and supports video clip playback in Windows Media Player. MediaArchHD's flexible deployment architecture allows the recorder to be isolated from sterile or harsh environments while being run remotely. MediaArcHD is the most recent example of the ProConnections adaptation of proven STI technology. |
